Generally, no. The limitation period for leave is suspended during parental leave. If your parental leave started on or before 31 December 2024, those 20 days are still available. However, after returning, you only have the remaining time that was left before the leave started to use them.

Põhipuhkuse nõue aegub ühe aasta jooksul arvates selle kalendriaasta lõppemisest, mille eest puhkust arvestatakse. Aegumine peatub ajaks, kui töötaja kasutab emapuhkust, isapuhkust, lapsendajapuhkust või vanemapuhkust, samuti juhul, kui töötaja on ajateenistuses või asendusteenistuses.
The claim to annual leave expires one year after the end of the calendar year for which the leave is calculated. The limitation period is suspended while the employee uses maternity, paternity, adoptive or parental leave, or is in military or alternative service.
